Some of the inscriptions and commemorative plaques that can be found on buildings in Charleroi provide the text material for a comic. 

The four pages do not make a coherent story, but show the texts as simple thoughts and statements of fictitious people in the city. that are only loosely connected. The places where the texts were found are in footnotes on each page.
